The year was a whirlwind for sure! Portraits, headshots, photo booths, weddings. Full of laughter, smiles, hugs, tears, little baby feet and love. Thank you mlp friends for sharing your life and memorable moments with me. Let’s look back shall we? It will take a while to load all the images but it’ll be worth it! :)

She told me that her whole family would be in town for the Christmas break and the gift she asked for was new family portraits. But the catch was it had to be done on Christmas eve. Of course I said yes! It’s not often that family from all parts of the country are able to be together at one place. It was a cold and blustery but clear morning and it was an absolute blast! :)

I’ve been photographing the Westfall family for about three years now and every session ends in someone almost peeing in their pants from laughter. Seriously. :) The weather here in Oregon hasn’t been very cooperative in the outdoor family photo session department. We luckily found an afternoon that would work! I turned into an elf and used my ladder aka “Big Mike” and I trimmed the Christmas tree outside their home. The photo session literally took 5 minutes because it started to rain like crazy. But the mission was accomplished!

Kristin was referred to me by a sweet friend (Hi Jamie!) She wanted portraits of her adorable little family. Ultimately, she wanted to surprise the grandmothers with cute portraits of her little joy, Brooklyn. So we met on a cold morning in November to get ‘er done! Brooklyn had the cutest outfits and we had to spotlight some snazzy shoes since daddy, Brian works at Nike.

We have been waiting and anticipating for this little guy’s arrival for quite a long time. I enjoy watching his family interact. So much love for each other. No doubt that that love will multiply times a bajillion now that Bryson is here.

Presley was an amazingly easy baby to photograph. Not only was she extremely adorable, she slept for me the entire time! It helps that her mommy and daddy are sweet and patient too.

I was so excited to meet little baby Sophie for the first time. Check out her super buttery cheeks! She was a dream to photograph. She slept the whole time and let me put cute little hats her grandma from Guatemala made for her.

Baby Grace was as sweet as can be during her session. Sweet baby girl was created in Germany and made her debut in Portland, Oregon. Her big blue eyes were so beautiful. The immense love in this little family of three was just amazing.

It was a beautiful day for an engagement session. Reed is a fireman so it’s obvious that we’d take some photos at his fire station. So we started off there and headed to downtown Salem to do some photos amongst the cherry blossom trees. Shawna was stunning, as usual, and you can totally tell from the session that spring love was in the air. I can’t wait for their wedding in August!
