December 31, 2004

January

We welcomed in the new year with excitement and glee! We were pregnant and having a baby!
My water broke on the 4th during the middle of snow storm and ice over.
The doctor\’s thought Malia wouldn\’t make it. We thought so too but didn\’t give up hope.
I\’m to stay on bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy.

February

The 23rd marks 10 years of being as a couple. Jerry and me. How schweet!

March

My blogging saga begins on the 31st.

April

On the 12th Jerry became a Staff Sergeant. Salute.
They said that I can be on modified bedrest on the 16th. More outings! Yay!
I almost fainted at Jerry\’s early birthday dinner date.
Jerry officially turned 30 on the 26th.
I lost my plug on his birthday as well. Oh joy.

May

We found out on the 5th that mom had stomach cancer. They do the surgery on the 13th. All goes well. 18-week chemo/radiation treatment follows.
Preterm labor once on the 15th, twice it makes on the 23rd, third time\’s the charm on the 31st.

June

I gave birth to Malia Janelle on the 1st by c-section.
The 27th marked 6 years of wedded bliss.
And the 28th was Malia\’s original due date.

July

The 7th marked Johnathan\’s 1 year anniversary. We miss you baby boy.
Malia is baptized on the 10th and her party is on the 11th. A wonderful day.
Malia talks and talks our ears off with her \”Oohs and aahs.\” on the 23rd.

August

Busy busy busy with the baby baby baby.

September

On the 11th Jerry goes to Okinawa for two weeks of duty.

October

We move into a new apartment on the 15th.
Mom\’s last day of cancer treatment is on the 23rd.
Halloween on the 31st. Malia was a little butterfly.

November

We found out mom is in the clear on the 15th.
I turned 30. hoo-ray.

December

25th was Malia\’s first Christmas!
We move from the third floor to the first floor on the 30th.
