Little David at 11 months

March 31, 2008

We’ve known this family for quite sometime and they are so wonderful. I had the great opportunity to have a photo session with them at the downtown waterfront park amidst cherry blossom trees!

Here’s little David, at 11 months old, and always on the lookout for dogs. He loves dogs!

Look at his sweet toothy grin! So cute!

And a final shot of the family. So much love and happiness was felt during the session. I love my job. :)

Three brothers

March 28, 2008

I met these three boys and their mom and dad through a family friend. They were visiting from sunny California. They are the sweetest and loved my little girls. All these shots were taken in the rain. Good times. :)

The middle one, Nolan, Malia just adored him because he gave the best piggy-back rides.

The youngest, Cormick, loved to play with Jenna. I just love watching older kids interact with my tiny ones.

The oldest, Clay, is graduating this year and working on becoming an Eagle Scout. Here’s his tough guy pose.

My Spring loves

March 26, 2008

The new pettiskirts came in and a fresh bloom of spring flowers were just ready for the pickin’! So I took my girls out and had some fun!

Here’s Jenna. I just love this one of her. She looks calm yet pensive and sweet all at the same time!

Here’s Malia after she picked me a fresh set of flowers.

And a last one of two of them. It’s really getting difficult to get the two of them to look at me at the same time. This one is going on canvas for sure!!

Amy, maternity session

March 18, 2008

She’s a fellow photographer and an absolute beauty inside and out. Love her!! The best thing about taking pictures of photographers is that they don’t need much direction. They already know what the deal is. :)

Look at her momma glow.

I fell in love with this the moment I laid eyes on it through the viewfinder.

A different point of view but I LOVE it!!

Siblings, Gwen & Jeff

March 17, 2008

Little Gwen is 3 months old at this session and her big brother is close to turning 4 years old. I took Gwen’s newborn pictures. Remember? Well, Gwen was once again a complete sweetheart and Jeff was a great big helper and model during the photo shoot. :)

Here’s the two of them, Jeff giving his little sister a sweet kiss on the head.

She still likes to stick out her tongue at me! Haha!

And lastly, one in the fun little teacup and saucer. Adorable! Look at her laugh!

The Kaufman Family

March 14, 2008

One of the reasons why I love the Pacific Northwest is the lovely spring rain. It was not a surprise to do a session right out there in the cool March sprinkle! The Kaufman’s were a joy to work with. They have three adorable girls. Here are some from the fun session!

I stood on top of a very high ladder to get this one. It was so worth it! Aren’t they wonderful!

Here’s one of their youngest girl. Look at those beautiful blue eyes and pretty smile!

And the last one is of the two older girls. They were such a blast to work with. I had so much fun with them!

Newborn Piper

March 13, 2008

Oh she’s a big girl with such a sweet little cry! She didn’t want to sleep for the session but it’s totally okay. Newborns are so unpredictable!

Here she is looking at me with her baby blues.

Wedding preparations

March 10, 2008

My cousin, Neena and her fiance Clinton are in full wedding prep mode. This weekend, we were in Washington for Jerry’s military weekend and I got some good shots of the silk bouquets for the flower girls and the centerpieces. I can’t wait for the wedding in July!!

Giving back – nilmdts

March 7, 2008

I’m officially a member of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. An organization of photographers that donate their time and talent to capture an early life lost. As many of you know, I lost a child at 18 weeks gestation and to this day regret that I didn’t take enough pictures while I was pregnant with him and after I delivered him. This is just my small attempt at giving back and helping those who have lost a little one… to give them a little bit of memory to keep and to help them heal.

She’s here!

March 4, 2008

A few of you probably remember Jenica, Todd & Maya from this previous session. I’ve followed Jenica throughout the pregnancy and yesterday they welcomed a new bundle of joy, Piper Quinn. She weighed in at a whopping 10lbs! Go Jenica! Here are a few pics I took while visiting at the hospital.

Sweet little sleeping one.
