Scouting for rad locations, just one of the many duties of a photographer.  Found this place in North Portland and had some teens & high school seniors meet up with me for some fun photos!

Here’s Kenzie.  She’s not mad.  She’s just showing me her serious side. :)

Here’s Andrea.  Look at her cool pose and check out the awesome graffiti behind her!  I played around with the over-processing in this one.

And here’s my sister and her posse, I mean friends.  :)

And the last share is Kenzie showing off her jumping skills!  Go high or go home!

with a family that I’ve known for forever!  The mommy, Heidi, and I have had our shares of infertility challenges.  But here we are now!  Two kiddos later!  I met up with them at her parents house by the beach and boy was it a magical morning.

Here’s their little boy running to his momma.  Truly a magical moment.  :)

And the two kids having a cup of tea together in the backyard.  Don’t you just love their dress up costumes!

And here’s a tender moment I captured between a granddaughter and her “Oma.”

Thank you Heidi and family for allowing me into your home to take memorable pictures of you!

You remember them right? My cousin Neena and her fiance were my first engagement session.  Now they’re finally husband and wife!  Congrats you guys!

They had an awesome wedding photographer so I made sure I didn’t step on too many toes to grab a few pictures.

The beautiful, yummy cake!

My two munchkins were flower girls and they loved dancing on the spiffy dance floor.  Hehe.

I did a maternity session in Yakima about a month ago and was able to return to do a newborn session!  It’s a boy and he’s a cutie pie!

Here he is!  Baby boy Carter.

Much thanks to the Heintz-Russell family for your graciousness.  I had so much fun with you all for both the maternity/family and newborn/family sessions.  I can’t wait to see you all again!

P.S.  Thanks to my wonderful second assistant, Andrea too!

In honor of county, I decided to have the girls play around with a little bit of colorful tulle.  The tulle just happened to be RED and BLUE and they were standing in front of a WHITE background.  Hmmm symbolism maybe?

They’re a little too centered for my taste but photographing my own children is quite a task.

Malia decided to roll around in the tulle and became quite entangled.  That brought out the giggles in her.

And little miss Jenna always tries to run away from my camera.  But I always manage to get her!

God Bless the U.S.A.!

There’s a new physical therapist and pilates instructor in town and she asked me to take her new headshots! We used numerous outfits in the session. Some poses were simple/casual and others were fun/innovative. It was so fun!

It helped that she was a fine and toned gorgeous lady. She was so relaxed the entire time.

And we have a winner! This is the eventual shot that she chose for her new headshot! Yay!
