We hadn’t taken family pictures for about 10 years – for the same reasons many don’t: waiting to loose weight, the studio atmosphere doesn’t fit our family image, the cost, etc. my list was forever long.  A friend of mine referred us to Maricar and told me about her Spring sale.  After checking out her web site – the cost factor was removed and so was the “studio” atmosphere.

After many emails the photo-shoot date finally arrived.  We met Maricar at the Pearl District all dressed in red t-shirts & jeans.  We quickly got to work and our teens had a BLAST with Maricar – she made them feel like they were the only kids in the city.  Watching the kids enjoy themselves, instantly, my husband and I relaxed and felt completely comfortable.  We felt like Maricar already knew us and we had been friends forever; the family poses she chose fit us exactly – FUN & relaxed.

Maricar has a great gift – she makes you feel comfortable and for the hour you’re with her the world only revolves around you!  Thank you Maricar for such a great experience and beautiful pictures.  We definitely look forward to taking pictures again.

Fun & Comfortable – probably the best two words to describe our experience with Maricar. We knew we wanted professional pictures taken but neither one of us enjoys being in front of the camera but Maricar made it very comfortable and natural. This also made the whole experience very fun. We had such a great time with Maricar and our pictures turned out absolutely perfect. She has such an amazing eye for detail. She is wonderful to work with.
